A "New" Toy

Well, since the weather finally warmed up I was able to do something I've been trying to do for weeks-clean Annalee's "New" toy!! We got this kitchen months ago from some friends at church and it's been sitting in our garage. Everytime Annalee saw it she would run to it with a huge smile and want to play, but I just had not found the time to clean it- until last weekend. I went outside while Annalee and Chuck took a walk and cleaned it all up for her. When she saw what I was doing from her stroller she got so excited! We all helped move the kitchen inside and upstairs. Well, Chuck did most of the work! : ) And we spent the rest of the night playing! She loves it!!! She even makes a "beep beep" sound when she presses the buttons on the microwave! How cute! And check out my little girl's hair and how it's growing! She is becoming such a "BIG" girl! But we do have to give some props to Tasha and Bella- we aren't on the potty yet! : ) Love you girls! And thanks Steve, Amy, Olivia, and Eli for the "New" toy! Annalee loves it!

Cookies and a BaBa

Annalee loves her cookies and yes- her BaBa (that's short for bottle)! We are still hooked on our bottle and if anyone has any suggestions as to how to get her off of it- I will try it!!! But I do have to blame myself a little- I haven't tried too hard either. After a hard day of playing outside we had a fun snack time together. Cookies and a BaBa- well, I had milk in a cup! What messy hair she has! Later that night we found Annalee under her highchair after supper. She's great!

Here they are!

Well, I finally have found the time to get these new pics up and a lot has happened since Easter!
Annalee had her first BIG fall of her life! She took a head dive on the sidewalk outside our front porch! She was so excited to see our neighbors across the street and so eager to say hi to them that she just tripped over her own two feet! Lots of blood and tears, but she survived! (such a trooper!) We also had our first stomach virus! YUCK! No pictures of that!! ha ha!! These are two times that I wish I could have taken her place. Yes- I would have gladly gone through these two things for her. I guess that's what being a mom is sometimes about- wanting to take the pain away from your child. But we made it through these rough times and have been playing outside every chance that we could!
She loves being outside and she also loves her blanket! But sleeping is not really her thing! I look forward to when the weather is a little more cooperative and we can play outside more!

Sorry!!

Well, I know I said it would be hard to do this blogging thing and it is! But new pics are coming soon! I promise!!! I saved them to my computer yesterday, but can't find them today. Yes, I am not the best at dealing with computers. It always seem to work fine when Chuck is on it, but as soon as I get on it- everything seems to go wrong or just so slow I can't take it!!! Anyone else ever had that problem??? I'll have pics up soon!
