Ist Trip to the ZOO

Annalee had her 1st trip to the Nashville Zoo a couple of weekends ago. She had so much fun! Days before our trip you would ask her where she was going on Saturday and she would say, "ZOO!" She was so excited about this place and really had no idea what was there! It was really cute! Here she is looking at the giraffes and elephants with Chuck. But her favorite animals were the meerkats. She was so excited to see them. I think because they came right up to the glass and she was face to face with them. Plus they are so little and fast! Of course we didn't get any pictures of that because Chuck and I were having so much fun watching her!As you can see, she wasn't really into the petting part of it all. She had more fun running around in the open area with the goats than she did petting them. We had a great day with her and can't wait to go back! Oh- and here is the sweetest picture of all on the ride home! She was pooped! (So were we!)

New Rides

Annalee had her first ride on the "tractor" (as she calls it) with Daddy the other day. She loved it!!! It's not really a tractor though it's just the lawnmower, but no matter how many times we tell her that, she still calls it a tractor!

Mother's Day out is over at church and we are looking forward to our summer- and our summer job! We will be running things again at Davidson's Bear Camp this summer. Although, we won't be able to be there everyday, due to Annalee being 16 months old and EVERYWHERE! Last year, she stayed in her stroller, on her blanket, or in her pack-n-play while I was at work. But that is definitely not going to happen this year. So, we will go when we can and run things from home.

Her other new ride is one my Mama (pronounced Maw Maw/her great grandmother) bought her at a yard sale for $5! Yes $5! Check this out!

A mini-police car! She loves this new ride too! And has to get in it every time we go to their house. I just realize everyday that she is growing up so fast. I am so thankful and blessed that I am able to watch her grow everyday! She's so precious to me and Chuck!

New Faces and Moves

Well, Annalee has been very full of herself lately. She is quite the trooper overcoming 2 ear infections with 3 shots in 3 days. (yes, she had to go to the doctor 3 days in a row and get a shot each day!!!) It was awful! But she managed to fight through and is now back to being healthy and being herself. This is her new face she makes. It is the cutest!!! If you tell her to "Make the face" this is what you get! And her new move is "Hands on your hips." If you say it, you get it! This is the best picture I could get of that. And if your wondering, that is my red sports bra hanging from her neck. She ran into my bathroom and came back out with it on like this! She really pays attention when I'm getting dressed! : ) I'm so glad she's feeling better!
